Celebrating Summer with Ticket Events

Believe it or not, summer is just around the corner! We are already starting to see a stream of colorful, joyful ticket events pop up for this summer. Looking for some inspiration for a fun-in-the-sun event of your own? We have some amazing examples below.

Botanical Beverages

We see a lot of Beer Fests and Wine Tasting events, but Botanical Beverages takes beverage-focused ticket events to the next level with an herb-forward cocktail party in a garden, so support gardens.

Why we love it:

  • Theme: Every part of the event is centered around the magic of gardens, from a garden location to craft cocktails that are paired with herbs from the garden to a live jazz ensemble.
  • Brand: That garden them is front and center from their event website, from the artistic event logo to the classy color scheme.
  • Cause: Botanical Beverages supports the nonprofit Goodell Gardens & Homestead and makes it easy to donate during the purchase path.

African American Culture Fest & Car Show

This June event has something for the whole community, with live and deejayed music, vendors, a Kids Zone, a car and bike show, and more.

Why we love it:

  • Free tickets! While there are also $20 tickets available for participating in the Car & Bike Show, general admission tickets are FREE. When there’s no cost for a ticket, there’s no processing fee for us, making the ticket truly free for the attendee and the event. Another upside? Free tickets make attendees more likely to contribute a donation to the cause.
  • Vendor and Sponsor Sales: The African American Culture Fest and Car Show also offers multiple sponsorship levels and vendor options, with each one set up as a Ticket Group with multiple ticket options. Each option has the included perks clearly outlined via the ticket description.
  • Information Collection: While the event needs only basic information for general attendees, sponsorships and vendor slots have more robust information needed. By setting up Questions and tying them only to specific tickets, they are able to collect the information they need for each type of ticket.

ISLE Society Summer BBQ

Returning to TicketSignup after selling out in 2021, the ISLE Society Summer BBQ takes advantage of a premier summer event to boost membership in their organization. To do that, they provide coupon codes to all Society Members that significantly reduce the price of the ticket − or, ticket purchasers can make an additional donation within the purchase path and use their ticket purchase towards the price of membership.

Why we love it:

  • Button Customization: ISLE Society customized the buttons on their cover page that create a sense of urgency (with a capitalized NOW) and provide alternatives for supporters who cannot attend (by encouraging them to donate, instead).
  • Organization Focus: ISLE Society’s used a Cover Page to add additional information about their organization to the event website. They added content for all kinds of learners, with a video option alongside a written description.

Fill the Field

What’s better than a yoga class with fresh air? Fill the Field uses yoga and community to foster health and well-being through yoga, with a speaker focused on mental health, a yoga class, and local vendors. For their fourth event, they are offering a variety of tickets to ensure it’s accessible and encourage family participation.

Why we love it:

  • Storytelling Images. Fill the Field uses a slideshow header on their cover page with images from previous events. These images play a key role in evoking emotion and getting potential attendees excited to attend − and you can check them out below.

Party-Pack tickets. In addition to individual tickets, attendees can purchase a “Party-Pack” of four discounted tickets. To enforce this, the Ticket Setup indicates that tickets within the “Party-Pack” must be purchased in sets of four.

The Takeaway

If you’re interested in hosting a summer event for your community but feeling like your options are stale, mix it up a little! You don’t have to re-invent the wheel entirely – a focus on the location (like a garden), or a creative option (like a car show) may be all you need to attract attendees and set your event up for success.
