Locked In

Most ticket vendors lock you into contracts (and many auto-renew without you even knowing!). And these vendors are starting to get mad at customers who are choosing to move to TicketSignup.

We would like to apologize to all of these old ticket vendors who have to rely on locking customers in for building a better product at a lower price and offering things like free email, free websites (that you control fully with your brand!), making things like sales tax and checkin apps easy and always making payments on time and accurately and easy to reconcile. We are not trying to interfere with your contracts – we are simply trying to help event organizers have a better ticket platform so they can grow their events.

Our Non-Exclusive Contract

We would also like to invite all ticket vendors to copy our contract. It is non-exclusive, which means you can leave us at any time.

We have respect for our customers and if they are better off somewhere else, then we do not deserve their business. This keeps us honest and focused on the technology – not on figuring out how to lock a customer in and limit their potential.

Two Choices

If your ticket vendor is locking you in and you wish to move to us, there are two choices:

  • First, ask for legal advice – just not from us. That would be contract interference and we can’t do that.
  • Second, give notice and hand in there – we will be here once you get unlocked…

And we will keep improving every day so it will be even better once you move to TicketSignup!
