Please share additional details about your past work experience, your education and/or training, and any notable professional skills.
I graduated from Virginia Tech where I studied biology and chemistry. Professionally, I have a diverse background with experience in various roles such as quality management, business ownership, and wholesale accounts management. I have been actively involved in community-oriented roles as an assistant race director for the Lucky Clover 5K and spearheaded the collaboration with two neighboring elementary schools to establish the “Reservoir Race Series” event. Additionally, I have served as a Sport Backers Ambassador and helped coach my neighborhood running group.
What are you most looking forward to in joining the team?
I am excited to work for a company where I can grown my career in an industry that I am passionate about. Joining the RunSignup | TicketSignup
GiveSignup team presents an opportunity for me to immerse myself in the world of endurance events, and industry that I find deeply inspiring and dynamic. I look forward to working with the great team of people that I’ve already met, as well as those I’ve yet to meet, within the existing team.
Tell us about your hobbies and interests, and what you like to do for fun outside of work.
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me training for a race or on my Peloton bike. I’m equally passionate about all things Virginia Tech, traveling, hiking, enjoying live music, diving into a good book, and tuning into running podcasts. Family is everything to me — I enjoy watching my husband play tennis, cheering for my daughter at her events, and supporting my son in high school cross country and track. When it’s time to unwind, I’m always game for exploring a new brewery or cruising on our pontoon boat during the summer months.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact for me is that I was a gymnast growing up and competed on the club gymnastics team for Virginia Tech. I’ve competed the Boston Marathon twice, both in 2015 and 2016. Additionally, I had the exciting opportunity to attend the NCAA Division 1 cross country national championship in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2023. As a self-proclaimed running nerd, I have a deep passion for all things related to running. Oh, and to top it off, my birthday falls on July 4th!
