Ticket Type Recipient Lists for Automated Ticket Purchase Follow Up Emails

Events use TicketSignup’s free automated emails to seamlessly set up drip campaigns to ticket purchasers. Now events can set up segmented drip campaigns with ticket type recipient lists for automated ticket purchase follow up emails. For example, set up separate drip campaigns for General and VIP tickets.

To set up a targeted drip campaign, navigate to Emails >> Automated Emails. Enable the Ticket Purchase Followup automated email. Select your desired schedule (i.e. 3 days after purchasing tickets), and click save. Then click edit.

By default, the automated ticket purchase followup email goes to all ticket purchasers. Click the edit icon next to recipients, and select the ticket types you want to send the email to.

Then select the recipients you want to receive the email. For example, VIP ticket holders. Click Save.

You can then customize the email content that you are sending by choosing a new template, one of TicketSignup’s pre-built emails, or editing the existing email. Click Save Automated Email at any point to save all of your changes to your drip campaign.

TicketSignup’s free and unlimited Email Marketing lets ticket events cut their Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and/or Eventbrite email costs. Automated drip campaigns that you can now segment by ticket type add even more functionality to TicketSignup’s free email that’s purpose-built for events.

We will be extending automated drip campaigns for Beta MTE events next. Set pre-event reminders and post event emails based on the date and time slot of tickets (note that simple and advanced tickets can also do this with scheduled emails).
