Introducing the TicketSignup AI Chatbot

TicketSignup is releasing the TicketSignup AI Chatbot for our free event websites in July, 2025.

The TicketSignup AI Chatbot is a new free option for Ticket Events, Membership Organizations, and Races using TicketSignup’s event websites

The TicketSignup AI Chatbot will provide automated answers to attendees, members, and participants based on content on the event website, as well as attendee data on the platform.  

Early users of the TicketSignup AI Chatbot technology report a drop in questions from customers of more than 70%.

Building on the success of Queu.ai

Some TicketSignup customers began working with Queu.ai in 2024 to reduce their support volume via an AI based chatbot.  Daniel Beasley, the founder and builder of Queu.ai and Event Savvy wrote a guest blog about those early successes in May, 2024. We have been working with Daniel over the past year, with a number of customers finding success.

Daniel is joining TicketSignup full-time to build a next generation of his event chatbot: TicketSignup AI Chatbot.  He brings with him the experience of building AI specifically for customer service, as well as hands-on experience with the fast-moving evolution of AI.

Daniel said “I am excited about the opportunity to bring AI based customer service technology to tens of thousands of events by building out the new TicketSignup AI Chatbot.”

In the initial release, TicketSignup AI Chatbot will have the same functionality as Queu.ai. However, we expect to rapidly add features to provide a number of additional benefits for TicketSignup and RunSignup customers:

  • TicketSignup AI Chatbot widget built into event websites
  • TicketSignup AI Chatbot built into the Contact Us component in event websites
  • Real time data integration 
  • Attendee Management features based on event settings for providing guidance on things like Referral Rewards, Transfer to a friend, Transfer Event, Refunds, etc.
  • FAQ component built into our event Websites that will help events provide the context needed for providing better answers to customer queries.
  • RunSignup | TicketSignup Dashboard access to chat histories and measurements for successful queries and escalated to human queries
  • RunSignup | TicketSignup Dashboard tools to improve chatbot responses and provide additional training to the AI model
  • Continuous iterative improvements based on customer feedback
  • Continuous improvements in the underlying AI models

Another Free Tool for Events

The TicketSignup AI Chatbot will be another free tool integrated into TicketSignup’s free event websites. Much like our free email and free websites, there are costs for TicketSignup in providing this capability.  However, we feel a simple business model that helps our customers to succeed is what makes us successful. Our business model is based on us growing only if we can help our customers to grow their business.

Limited  Access Program

For the first 6 months, access to the AI Chatbot will be limited as we build more automation to scale the onboarding process to meet customer demand. There will be certain requirements to be eligible:

  • Using a TicketSignup website with excellent content that will allow the AI Chatbot to respond to customer queries
  • For races, having Results in native RunSignup format

Long Term Vision

We expect two paths to evolve with the TicketSignup AI Chatbot:

  1. Continued improvement for customer service as we have described above.
  2. Chat capability for buying tickets and signing up for events as models improve.
