A holiday lights show rents six fire pits a night. A festival sells fifty reserved parking spots a day. A brewery event books eight cabanas an evening. TicketSignup now offers Daily Quantity Limits for calendar-based ticketing add-ons, so you can sell that capacity on every date of your run instead of setting one total across the whole event.
TicketSignup gives you several ways to control store inventory. Set a total quantity for the event, set quantities by variant so each size or color tracks its own stock, or use the Warehouse to share one item and its inventory across some or all of your ticket events. Daily Quantity Available adds a per-day control on top of your event total. Enter the number you can deliver in a single day and TicketSignup tracks availability for each date automatically.
To set it up, go to Store >> Setup >> Quantities, and enter your per-day capacity in the Daily Quantity Available field. Leave it blank for items with no daily limit. Your Initial Quantity Available setting continues to control total inventory across the event, so you can use either field on its own or both together. Note that Daily Quantity Limits are currently only available for items, experiences, and other add-ons with no variants.

TicketSignup calculates availability against the date on the tickets and updates the store step in real time. Purchasers see messaging for the date they selected, including “A maximum of 6 of this item is available per day,” “Only 2 of 6 remaining for July 31, 2026,” and “Sold out for this date.” The quantity selector caps itself at the number still available for that date, so purchasers only see quantities they can complete, and TicketSignup validates the limit again at checkout.

Daily quantity limits work with items that are available at the purchase and individual ticket level. In addition, quantities open up if there are cancellations.
With daily quantity limits for add-ons, your event can more easily:
- Sell your true capacity every day. Offer the same add-on across every date of your event and sell out each date independently.
- Protect your operations. Purchasers cannot oversell a resource you physically have to deliver on a given night.
- Reduce transfers and refunds. Purchasers see accurate availability before they buy, so fewer orders need adjusting later.
- Grow revenue per order. Sell reservations, guided experiences, and premium seating online instead of holding them back for on-site sales.
