About Taos Ski Valley
Taos Ski Valley is best known for world-class skiing, but the resort offers much more than winter sports. Throughout the year, the mountain hosts a wide range of events—from wellness festivals to food and drink celebrations to uphill ski tours. Managing ticketing for such diverse experiences requires a flexible, easy-to-use platform.

When Mountain Events Manager Leah Matamales discovered TicketSignup after using RunSignup for a race series, she quickly recognized the value. Because TicketSignup integrates seamlessly with RunSignup, Leah didn’t even need to create a new payment account! In just one year, Leah set up more than 20 events on TicketSignup. Each event includes its own free event website, free built-in email marketing, and multiple ticketing options.
Throughout the process, Leah received hands-on support from the TicketSignup team. Ticket sales representative Sarah McMahon and account manager Elisabeth DellaRova helped ensure a smooth transition and successful setup for each event.

The Taos Mountain Wellness Festival is a three-day immersive experience focused on self-care, mindfulness, and personal growth. The event brings together top wellness practitioners, yoga instructors, and educators from across the region.
Using TicketSignup, the event team created a rich, informative event website that includes multiple pages:
- A detailed multi-day event schedule
- Instructor bios to showcase presenters
- An integrated store for additional purchases
The result is a seamless experience where attendees can explore, plan, and purchase everything they need in one place.

Event Spotlight: Barks, Bacon & Brews
Barks, Bacon & Brews is a fun, community-focused event benefiting Assistance Dogs of the West. It combines pets, food, and craft beer into one memorable day. The event website features a colorful and engaging design that matches the spirit of the event.
TicketSignup made it easy to manage multiple ticket options, including:
- A pet costume contest
- Beer and food tickets
- Food-only tickets
- A 5K entry. Because the event was an untimed fun run as a part of a larger event, Taos Ski Valley could manage the 5K without the participant management tools of RunSignup registration. Instead, it made sense to set it up as a as a simple ticket option alongside the other options for the day.

Event Spotlight: Full Moon Uphill Tour
The Full Moon Uphill Tour showcases TicketSignup’s ability to handle recurring, limited capacity events. This unique experience invites participants to skin up the mountain under the night sky, creating a magical journey to watch the full moon rise before skiing or snowboarding back down.
The event uses TicketSignup’s MTE calendar-based setup with event dates falling on or near the full moon.
To ensure that the event remains safe and intimate, the event has a ticket cap of 10 participants per date – an easy feature to set up on TicketSignup.
