Organizations are using TicketSignup Ticket Events to sell tickets and collect donations for virtual and socially distanced ticketed events. Here are some of the ticketed events that businesses are hosting to raise money and engage supporters now.
Louisville Zoo – Virtual Flutter Fest
The Louisville Zoo hosted a virtual release of 1,000 tagged monarch butterflies to coincide with the annual monarch migration. Attendees bought tickets to watch the live-streamed event online. People who donated $5 when they bought tickets received a tag number of a butterfly to follow its journey.
Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado – Gala At Home
Instead of cancelling their annual gala, the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado is selling tickets and collecting donations for a Gala At Home. How does it work? Free tickets are available to the gala livestream event. With TicketSignup, free events are free so neither the organization nor the attendees pay anything – and Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado gets the benefit of collecting supporter information AND making a soft-ask for an optional donation.
Paid tickets are available for a Gala in a Box party pack that comes with wine and a prepared dinner.
The Asservo Project – Paintball-A-Palooza
The Asservo Project hosted a socially distanced paintball event to raise awareness and money to combat human trafficking and child exploitation. In addition to selling paintball tickets to participants, they also raised money by selling spectator tickets at a lower price of $10. Optional donations helped raise an additional $500 for the nonprofit.
Chemo Buddies – Golf Scramble
The Southwest Indiana Association of Health Underwriters held their annual golf scramble to raise money for Chemo Buddies. TicketSignup’s flexible ticket holder information collection lets them collect information for each member of teams as well as sell individual tickets for those without a group.
Kentlands Foundation – Musica Viva @Home Concert
The Kentlands Foundation took their concert series virtual this year. Registration is free with optional donations. Their most recent virtual concert raised $2,000. Kentlands Foundation uses TicketSignup’s free email marketing to send the private Zoom link to ticket holders ahead of the virtual concert.
J-Hawk Aquatic Club – Wine Tasting Fundraiser
The J-Hawk Aquatic Club is hosting a wine tasting fundraiser to raise money to provide free swim lessons to disadvantaged youth in their community. Ticket purchasers must live within a 30 mile radius of the aquatic club. Ticket holders receive samples of 6 different wines and a link to an online Zoom wine-tasting hosted by the owner of the vineyard. TicketSignup’s 21+ ticket settings only allow legal adults to buy tickets to the event.
