Use the Tickets App for On-site Table Assignments and more in v1.1.31!

Implemented Update Ticket Information Options

The latest updates to the TicketSignup Tickets App include ticket info editing to allow for on-site table assignments, upgrades to the waiver signing kiosk mode, and more.

Ticket Info Edits for On-Site Table Assignements

The latest update includes a new feature that enables updating ticket information. You can access the feature under your Configurations and Presets.

  • Configuration > CheckIn Steps > Update Ticket Info
    • This adds a step to your CheckIn flow to update Ticket Info
  • Presets > Ticket Change Settings > Allow Ticket Info Edit.
    • This adds a button to the Ticket view that you can tap to edit ticket info.

This feature utilizes the Tickets > Information Collection settings to determine which fields should be shown and/or required in the Ticket Info Edit form. If the event has Custom Questions enabled, users will be able to update the responses to the custom questions on this view. We support Custom Questions that have a response limit, and we will not allow users to make a selection that would go over this limit.

This can be especially useful for Ticket Events that want to assign tables at the time of check-in. You can set up a Custom Question with an option for each table and a response limit that would be the number of chairs at each table. When the CheckIn App user checks in an attendee, they can assign them to a table in the CheckIn Flow.

To make sure that multiple devices do not assign attendees to the same table at the same time and go over the response limit, this feature requires an internet connection. This way, we can immediately determine whether or not the table in question has available spots. We hope this feature will make updating ticket information easier and more efficient for you.

Waiver Signing Updates

This release has 3 updates to the Waiver Signing Kiosk Mode.

  1. We have now added the feature to sign multiple waivers in Waiver Signing Kiosk Mode.
  2. The View Waiver Text Action was moved to the top of the page to reduce confusion among users who didn’t know which button to tap to proceed.
  3. The clear button has been de-emphasized by changing its color from red to grey.

Other Feature Updates

  1. Users who enable large fonts in the system accessibility settings will no longer cause unusually large font sizes in the app due to added support for font scaling.

  1. We updated Configurations > Lookup List > Items to Display selection component.
    • This is now a multi-select, so users can choose which kinds of items should be displayed in the lookup list.

  1. Users can tap the banner to navigate to the pending sync queue if items are stuck, so they can export the list of pending changes and resolve them manually, clear the list, or retry the sync.

  1. Information icons have been added to each Configuration Category Panel to indicate the type of features they contain.

  1. Added Ticket Number Assignment to CheckIn Confirmation Page

  1. Increased initial load times for large events by loading up to 1250 tickets at a time instead of 100.
