TicketSignup’s free Ticket App now supports beta MTE events for check-in. When scanning tickets, the app displays the purchased tickets’ date and time slots. In addition, you can use the first version of filters to limit the dates of tickets that show in the app. The first release of the Ticket App for MTE means that haunts, farm events, holiday light shows, and more can sell tickets using TicketSignup’s patent pending, beta MTE timed entry ticketing, and check-in MTE tickets with the Ticket App.
By default, MTE events will display dates and time slots in the Ticket App when you scan a ticket purchase. You don’t need to do any additional configurations. All additional Ticket App capabilities are available with the Ticket App for beta MTE events, including store fulfillment, the waiver app, configurations, and more.
You can use the filters in the upper right to limit the dates (and ticket types) on the app. Note that these filters will apply to the device only, and not to all devices using the Ticket App since it is not a configuration.
When you scan or search for a ticket outside of the date range, you get an invalid message. Clicking “Search Other Dates” allows you to override the date filters set. This makes it easy to scan tickets for a different date if you are using date filters and are not strictly enforcing which day attendees check-in.
The Ticket App will continue to grow capabilities for MTE events as our beta release matures. We will add rolling date filters (i.e. “Today’s tickets”, “Today +/- 1 day”, etc.) as configuration options. Later we will add more enhanced capabilities including ticket transfers done in the Ticket App.
