TicketSignup’s calendar based MTE Timed Entry Caps Management makes it easy to setup, view, and edit caps for timed entry events.

Month and Day Views for Ticket Caps
From the Dashboard, navigate to Tickets >> Caps >> Ticket Caps. The default view is the Month View, which shows the total number of available tickets per day.

As your event sells tickets, you can easily track tickets sold vs tickets available with the month calendar view for caps.

Click into any day to drill into caps per time slot and ticket type. This is the day view for caps management. Once again, the progress bars update in real time based on tickets sold so that you can easily see which time slots are full and which ones still have availability.

Edit Caps
MTE timed entry events can edit caps per ticket type at three levels.
- All time slots for a day of the week for a ticket type. For example, All Saturday General Admission Tickets.
Click Manage Caps below the ticket type you want to edit, then click All Saturday (or the day of the week you are on) Tickets. The new cap number you enter will override any existing caps for all General Tickets time slots on all Saturdays. Click Save.

- All time slots on a specific date for a ticket type. For example, All General Admission Tickets on Saturday, October 4.
Click Manage Caps below the ticket type you want to edit, then click Tickets on the specific date you are editing. The impacted time slots are listed. Check the override box and enter the desired caps per time slot for the specific date and ticket type. Click Save.

- One specific time slot for a ticket type. For example, the General Admission ticket on Saturday, Oct 4 at 6pm.
Use the Caps Day View to find the ticket and time slot that you want to edit. Click Manage Caps on that time slot. Enter the new caps number to override the existing cap, then click Save.

The Day View makes it easy to edit caps, whether you are customizing for specific dates ahead of opening tickets sales or increasing/decreasing caps for specific time slots while on site.
Shared Time Slot Cap Rules Across Ticket Types
Timed entry events that share caps across ticket types for a time slot can use TicketSignup’s advanced MTE custom rules. (Note: You must request custom rules enabled for your event).
With custom rules, you can set a total number of tickets available per time slot, as well as per ticket type. In the example below, 100 total tickets per time slot are available. No more than 80 General tickets and no more than 25 VIP tickets can be purchased per time slot; however, ticket sales for a time slot will be sold out once the total number of General + VIP tickets sold reaches 100.

Summary
TicketSignup’s patent-pending MTE Timed Entry has calendar-based caps management. This makes it easy to do bulk updates, as well as edit specific time slots. Events can see changes in visual day and month calendar displays to track edits and tickets sold vs. tickets available.
