2.8 Things Your Ticketing Platform Should Do for Free
Most event organizers don’t realize how much they’re paying for things that should be included. The ticket fee is just the start. Then come the add-ons: a monthly charge for email, an fee to access support, payouts you wait weeks for, and sales tax that’s somehow still your problem.
It doesn’t have to work that way. Here are eight things your ticketing platform should do without charging you extra – and how TicketSignup includes all of them at $0.40 per paid ticket, plus standard card processing (2.9% + $0.30).
3. Turn Add-Ons into Revenue
Selling tickets is just the start. The smartest events turn add-ons into revenue – selling a t-shirt, a parking pass, drink tickets, or an extra trip through the haunt alongside the ticket. TicketSignup’s flexible, built-in event store makes it easy to sell add-ons for events without the per-item fees other platforms tack onto every add-on.
4. Detailed Financial Summary for Ticket Events
Reconciling your event finances just got easier. TicketSignup now offers a Detailed Financial Summary for ticket events. It’s a clear breakdown of exactly where your money comes from and where it stands, all in one view. The Financial Summary gives you the big-picture totals. The new Detailed Summary breaks those numbers down by source, so you can see how each piece adds up to your bottom line.
5. Hide Event Stats in the Ticket App
Event organizers often need to control who can access attendance and sales data on event day. That’s why TicketSignup has added a new option to hide Event Stats in the Ticket App.
With this setting enabled, staff and volunteers using the Ticket App will no longer see event-level ticket sales and check-in totals. This helps organizers limit access to sensitive event data while still giving staff the tools they need to check in attendees, sell tickets onsite, and manage event operations.
