TicketSignup Product Updates: Week of September 7-13, 2026

This week we shipped 26 updates relevant to TicketSignup events, adding 6,134 lines of code and removing 1,165 lines as we continue to improve and simplify the platform.

This was a big week for events that sell timed-entry tickets, with a rebuilt registration flow, smarter time slot handling, and clearer confirmations for your buyers, alongside steady improvements to your event website, payment processing, and photo galleries. Whether you’re running a haunted house, a holiday lights walk, or a multi-day festival, these updates are aimed at making ticket sales smoother for you and simpler for the people buying from you. Read on for the details below.

Ticketing & Registration Improvements

A Faster, More Flexible Way to Set Up Timed-Entry Ticket Events

We rebuilt the registration experience for timed-entry ticket events from the ground up, making it faster and more reliable for your buyers. Organizers can now set ticket-level category pricing and let attendees register for multiple days in a single checkout, which is especially useful for multi-day festivals, fairs, and other extended events. See Which Coupons Are Actually Paying Off

Your ticket dashboard now includes a Coupon ROI report that shows, at a glance, how much revenue each coupon code generated compared to the discount it gave away. It’s an easy way to see which promotions are worth repeating and which ones to retire. Learn More.

Clearer Sales Reporting for Multi-Day and Timed-Entry Events

If you run a timed-entry event, you can now break your ticket sales report down by specific time slot or by event date instead of only by ticket type. That makes it much easier to see which days or time slots are selling best.

A Cleaner Confirmation When Attendees Sign Their Waiver

When someone signs a waiver for your event, they now see an instant on-screen confirmation instead of waiting through a full page reload. It’s a small change that makes the process feel quicker and more trustworthy for your ticket buyers.

One Less Click When There’s Only One Time Slot Available

When a timed-entry event only has one time slot left to purchase, we now automatically select it for the buyer instead of making them pick it manually – a small streamlining that reduces friction during checkout.

Sold-Out or Unpriced Time Slots No Longer Clutter Checkout

Time slots that don’t have pricing set up will no longer show as an option during registration, so your buyers only see time slots they can actually purchase. This keeps your event’s checkout page clean and avoids confusing dead ends.

More Accurate Confirmation Emails for Timed-Entry Tickets

We fixed an issue where confirmation and transfer emails for timed-entry tickets sometimes showed both a start and end time even when your event was only set up to display start times. Confirmation emails now reflect your registration path display settings.

Better Readability on the Ticket Selection Screen

We improved color contrast on the timed-entry ticket selection screen so pricing and buttons stay easy to read even against your event’s custom color theme, making checkout more accessible for everyone.

Every New Timed-Entry Event Now Has a Checkout Waiver by Default

New timed-entry ticket events are automatically set up with a default checkout waiver, so attendees are never stuck at checkout because no waiver was available.

Fixed a Checkout Issue With Card Readers and Cash Payments

We resolved a bug that was impacting connected Square card readers and cash payment options in TicketSignup’s point of sale application, so your on-site sales go smoothly.

Address Fields Back in the Right Order

We fixed the order of the country and zip code fields on ticket import forms so they display the way you’d expect.

More Reliable Event Duplication

We fixed a caching bug that could cause an error when duplicating an event after removing an image from one of its registration questions. Copying an existing event to create a new one is now more dependable.

Website & Event Page Builder Improvements

Smarter Default Images for Your Event Website

The image gallery in the website builder now defaults to images that match your event’s type, and hides the option to browse your own uploaded images until you’ve set up a payment account. It’s a small change that helps you find the right banner image faster.

Clearer Error Messages When Saving Your Website

If something on your event website doesn’t save correctly, you’ll now get a clear popup listing exactly which section has the problem, instead of a vague error. That means less guesswork fixing your event page.

Consistent Text Sizing Across Your Website and Emails

We standardized the default text size used in the website and email builders so what you see while designing matches what your attendees actually see.

Fixed Pop-Up Positioning on Event Websites

Notification pop-ups on event websites now center properly on every screen size, fixing an issue where they could appear crowded to one side, especially on mobile devices.

Refreshed Look for Buttons, Tables, and Page Navigation

We polished the styling of buttons, sortable tables, and pagination controls used throughout your event dashboard, for a more consistent and comfortable experience on both desktop and mobile.

Payments & Financial Operations

Smoother, More Accurate Card Payment Processing

We made several behind-the-scenes corrections to how card payments and transfers are categorized and processed, reducing the chance of a payment or payout hiccup on our end.

Earlier Alerts When Payout Funds Are on Hold

If a payout is being held in reserve, our finance team is now alerted sooner and more often – after 90 and 180 days as well as a year – so any issues holding up your funds can be caught and resolved faster.

Volunteer V2 Beta Updates

Tracking Check-Out Times and Hours Volunteered

As part of our Volunteer V2 beta, volunteer reports now show when each volunteer checked out and how many hours they volunteered, with totals included in both the on-screen report and CSV export.

Volunteer Task Management, Polished

We made a batch of small usability improvements to volunteer task management, including clearer task and time slot information in reports and CSV exports, and fixed a display issue affecting tasks without assigned time slots.

Event Photo Gallery Improvements

Private Photo Albums for Your Event

You can now mark photo albums on your event as private, restricting access to event admins only — perfect for behind-the-scenes shots you’re not ready to share publicly yet.

Stronger Privacy Protections for Event Photo Data

We closed a gap that had allowed certain event photo information to be accessed without the right permissions, tightening security around your event’s photo data.

More Reliable Photo Galleries

We fixed a caching issue that could occasionally cause errors on the event photos page, making photo galleries load more reliably.
