In 2024, we did more than 2,300 software releases. In this 2024 TicketSignup Product Recap blog, we highlight some of the key TicketSignup features that we released in 2024.
MTE Timed Entry
In March, we released the Beta version of TicketSignup’s MTE Timed Entry ticketing. By the fall, we onboarded more than a dozen MTE Timed Entry holiday events that sold over 60,000 tickets. Our patent-pending, calendar based solution solves the problems with old timed entry ticket systems like Eventbrite, TicketSpice, FareHarbor, and ShowClix. A scalable database structure lets us continue to scale MTE Timed Entry. Furthermore, the set of timed entry features we released in 2024 sets an incredibly strong foundation to onboard many more customers in 2025.
Calendar interfaces make event setup, event and attendee management, ticket purchase, and reporting simple and intuitive.

Event Management
Reports
Reporting
Reporting is one of the key features for events. With TicketSignup, event data is always available, easy to export, and straightforward to understand with actionable summary and line item reports. In 2024, we released the first version of Saved Reports for the Ticket Purchase report. Events can create completely custom reports: set filters, choose columns, rename headings, and rearrange data to appear in the preferred order.

TicketSignup has dozens of Summary Reports that help events get a better understanding of sales, marketing ROI, attendee demographics, and financials. We added a new Summary Reports page to make finding the right reports even easier.
One of our new summary reports available for every event uses calendar-based reporting to clearly show when people bought tickets.

The Interval CheckIn Report lets events drill into their on site check-in data, with visual graphs and easy to export data for variable intervals. Track peak arrival times and ensure sufficient staffing.

The store report now shows the fulfillment date and time, bringing in data from Ticket App fulfillments as well as manual online fulfillments.
Self-Serve Ticket Management
Self-serve Ticket Management features let events give flexible options to their attendees to manage their tickets. These options, including transferring tickets and resending confirmation emails, significantly reduce customer service. In 2024, we continued to add more self-serve ticket management options that give more flexibility and help to drive revenue.
Events can allow attendees to self-serve add store items to an existing purchase. Combined with the Ticket App’s fulfillment functionality, this is a powerful way to upsell add-ons even after attendees buy tickets.
In addition, events can allow ticket purchasers to transfer some or all of their tickets to a friend as a gift. This is another powerful way to reduce questions from groups in a single purchase, and helps reduce refunds and chargebacks if purchasers can no longer attend.

We also extended self-serve ticket transfers to MTE Timed Entry events. Transfer cutoff dates can be set on a rolling basis for MTE Timed Entry events. For example, allow attendees to transfer their tickets until 1 hour before their ticket time.
Event Email and Websites
TicketSignup’s free Email and Websites cut costs and save time by uniting contact lists and website content with event data. From marketing to event communications, TicketSignup’s purpose-built event Email and Websites cut costs and save time.
Email Marketing
Events sent nearly one billion emails for free in 2024 on TicketSignup. We continued to add more features to Email Marketing in 2024, including:
- Font size options
- Send Emails from Ticket Reports, with all columns available as replacement tags in the email.
- Segmented Recipient lists for Drip Campaigns, so you can set up separate flows for VIP and General tickets (for example).
- More Social Media Icons to link to your event or organization’s key social pages.
- Scheduled Emails can be viewed from a new tab, making it easy to check the emails your event is sending with quick options to cancel, copy, and view scheduled emails.
- Default deduplication settings let events set how marketing and transactional emails deduplicate contacts overall (with a per email override).
- Custom Wording support for Email Headers
We also added a new automated pre-event email for MTE Timed Entry events. Emails can be scheduled on a rolling basis days/hours/minutes ahead of when attendees have tickets.

Websites
One of the big projects we started in 2024 was making it even easier for events to have a great looking website out of the box. We released our first version of website templates for ticket events, enhancing the style, content, and layout for all newly created events when they come out of the ticket wizard. As an example, this is what a track meet event looks like immediately coming out of the wizard without any updates to the website.

Events can use the point and click Website Builder to build out pages and menus, add more data components like calendars and countdowns, and feature images, branding, and other content. Free domains and subdomains offer full branding. Check out new resources on how to create a newsletter archive on your event website and use free tools like Canva and OpenAI to optimize and fast track website design.
Image Gallery is a powerful way to use, manage, and organize images across all of your ticket events – and one of the most powerful ways to fast track creating beautiful and unique websites and emails. In 2024, we extended the Image Gallery from Email Marketing to Websites, allowing events to share images across Email and Websites. We also continued to expand our library of System Images to help events save time building out content.

We released the first version of the dynamic Event List for ticket websites. Dynamically display upcoming and past events on any website.

There were a number of other releases including: Alignment options for system components, custom contact forms, divider component, social media link icons,
Ticket App
The free mobile Ticket App is one of the most used and popular features on TicketSignup. Ease of use and flexible configurations make it a perfect fit for any sized event. This is one of our very strategic and ongoing areas of investment, and in 2024 we added more feature and functionality to make the Ticket App purpose-built for a variety of events.
The Ticket App was used to scan tens of thousands of MTE Timed Entry tickets at holiday events across the country this November and December. In addition to filters and data display for MTE Timed Entry events in the Ticket App, we added MTE Timed Entry check-in stats in the app.
Season Passes are a powerful tool that allow events to define limited or unlimited use ticket types. The Ticket App seamlessly tracks each use. This year we added extra validation for number of check-ins within time windows. For example, events can enforce that a 3 day festival pass with 3 uses can only be checked in once per day. This prevents someone from using all three uses within a single day. Or ensure that a pool membership can only be checked in once per day.

The Waiver App eliminates paper waivers and helps events collect more emails. In 2024, we added the ability to support multiple waivers in the Ticket App.
We also added the ability to edit custom question responses in the Ticket App. In addition to editing data, events like galas and conferences use this functionality to assign tables, seats, and more on site.
Financial
Fee Transparency Laws made a huge impact on how events display pricing, requiring all-in pricing inclusive of all ticket + processing and additional fees. California passed SB-478 to impose a law mandating upfront fee transparency, and more than 7 other states followed suit. TicketSignup keeps events in states with Fee Transparency laws in compliance with automated all-in pricing display. Options to absorb fees to display a cleaner all-in price, as well as enable fee transparency in states without laws are available.

Ticket Event Invoicing makes it free and easy for events to create, send, and manage invoices all from their event dashboard. From invoicing sponsors to tracking large group payments, TicketSignup’s Invoicing lets you consolidate all of your event’s finances in a single dashboard and set of reports.

There is now Amusement & Admission Tax Point of Sale Reporting. This helps events selling on site tickets with TicketSignups PoS app remit admission and amusement taxes post event.
And More…
One of the most popular and flexible features we introduced in 2024 was Private Tickets. Perfect for sponsors, corporate groups, and exclusive ticket types, Private Tickets let you create private URLs that allow people to buy tickets that are otherwise hidden from the website/purchase path.
Nonprofits continue to use TicketSignup for free and paid events, often with optional donations to raise more money. We added the ability to import offline donations to ticket events. This helps nonprofit ticket events track online and offline donations in one place, as well as keep goal meters in sync with offline donations raised.
We added custom confirmation page settings. Events can customize the message, hide or show social share options, and add a button to take users to a custom URL like an Event FAQ or your own website.
